Books of Meaning
Insights, intentions, and a touch of enchantment—books that bring meaning to the ordinary.

THE LANGUAGE OF GIFTS
First published in 2000, The Language of Gifts: The Essential Guide to Meaningful Gift Giving was ahead of its time—long before Pinterest boards and Google searches made symbolism a click away. It gathers the worldwide history of gift meanings and offers them back as inspiration, reminding us that if it’s the thought that counts, why not make it a thought that truly resonates?

DISNEYLAND WISDOM
Behind the churros, parades, and hidden Mickeys, every Disneyland ride holds a secret. From Dumbo’s reminder to take flight, to the Haunted Mansion’s invitation to release your baggage, to Pinocchio’s call toward redemption—each attraction carries a message. Disneyland Wisdom offers glimpses into 45 rides, foods, and attractions, sharing insights, intentions, and a touch of enchantment—transforming a day at the park into a lens for seeing life with more wonder.
The book is brought to life with my own full-color illustrations, painted in a simple, accessible style that makes the magic feel close at hand.

A YEAR TO BLOOM

My sister, Lia Griffith, commissioned me to create this guided journal in celebration of her tenth year leading the creative community at LiaGriffith.com. Her site is a hub for paper flower craft, DIY projects, and creative inspiration, and it was an honor to collaborate with her. Drawing from my earlier work, The Language of Gifts, I paired the meaning of flowers with her renowned paper flower designs to create something both beautiful and reflective.
This guided journal invites you into a year of reflection and creativity. Each week features one of Lia’s dazzling paper flower designs alongside its symbolic meaning, drawn from my work in The Language of Gifts. Prompts encourage you to write, reflect, and explore how each flower’s message relates to your own life. You can pair the journal with Lia’s tutorials to handcraft paper or felt flowers, making this a practice that combines creativity, self-care, and personal growth.

Books of Art
When words and images dream together—books that blend story, color, and creativity in thought-provoking ways.

DREAM A LITTLE DREAM WITH ME...
This guided journal is a place for dreamers—whether you’ve forgotten how to dream or can’t keep your head out of the clouds. Featuring my mixed media paintings and watercolor illustrations, it offers 52 spreads to spark reflection and imagination. Each week invites you to pause, play, and let new possibilities surface—reminding us that before anything is created, there is first a dream.

DAYS OF SHE

Created during the isolation of Covid, Days of She is a collection of 23 mixed-media studies of women in transformation. These portraits, some polished and some raw, capture moments of growth, empowerment, and delight in the midst of uncertainty. Each painting carries its own reflection—small truths about care, resilience, and becoming—that together create a record of introspection and renewal. This small book presents the paintings simply, one per page, so the women can speak for themselves.
A third fully illustrated work by me, Disneyland Wisdom, is featured in the Books of Meaning section.

Books of Tools
Practical guides I’ve created to solve real challenges—systems, strategies, and playful tricks that make everyday life lighter.

MOVE BY MOVE: MAKING CHORES A GAME

Finally, a time management book that gets it. I wrote this because “just pick your top three priorities” doesn’t work when you’ve got kids to feed, a job to juggle, and fifteen things screaming for attention. This guide flips time management on its head with seven smart ways to chunk your time, so you can crush the 19-item to-do list, clear a closet, paint a wall, and still have room for joy. Afterall, it was Mary Poppins who suggests, when you make a chore into a game, it gets done faster and with a whole lot more delight.

HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR CREATIVE OVERWHELM
If you’re constantly bombarded with ideas and pulled in a dozen creative directions at once, you’re not alone. I wrote this short, 48-page guidebook for my sister Arline — and for myself — as a way to tame the “curse of creativity.”
Inside, I share the simple plan I’ve used for years to sort through projects, quiet the mental noise, and channel creative energy into focus and joy instead of overwhelm

NATURE FAIRIES JOURNAL
Inspired by my hanging land art that evokes tiny fairies, this hardbound lined journal invites you to pause, wonder, and listen for hidden worlds. I’ve always written the books I need, and since I go through plenty of journals, I was excited to try Amazon’s hardbound format for myself. The result is a simple, sturdy notebook with a touch of enchantment on its opening pages.
